Founded in Denver, Colorado, OnTerra Systems makes traditionally expensive web mapping technologies affordable for businesses, non-profits, and government organizations of all sizes.
Founded in 2005, OnTerra Systems set out with a clear mission: make traditionally expensive web mapping technologies affordable for organizations of all sizes. Starting as a premier web mapping consultancy, OnTerra quickly grew into a product company trusted by thousands of businesses, developers, and government agencies across the US.
In 2010, OnTerra expanded into route optimization with the launch of RouteSavvy — now one of the most affordable and feature-rich route planning solutions on the market. MapSavvy, the company's OGC-compliant aerial imagery service, launched the same year, offering access to Bing Maps and HERE Technologies imagery at a fraction of competitor prices.
Today OnTerra Systems is an authorized reseller of Bing Maps, Azure Maps, and HERE Technologies, a recognized Microsoft partner, and a trusted source of Bing Maps migration services as organizations prepare for the 2028 retirement deadline.
